Devon is drop-dead(ly) gorgeous, with emphasis on ‘deadly’, a well-educated and enigmatic guy that fills Scarlett with an eerie feeling of déjà-vu. Meeting Devon feels like love at first sight, a dream come true, destiny indeed. Scarlett lives a double life, an appraised teacher by day and a lonely existence at night in the familiar dark gothic mansion, hiding a dark secrets. “Vampire Night” by Alice Bell is a paranormal romance that delves very deep and successful into dark gothic. I want to pick up another "by Night" book and I am looking to you all for recommendations. Are there any other good "by Night" books? What has served you well? I have read "NY by Night" and while it was IMO better than "Chicago by Night", I still didn't like it all that much. The history doesn't do it for me, either. I think the core conflict of the city is somewhat boring. I think Chicago as a city is pretty bland, or at least the WOD depiction of it is. I had heard from a lot of gamers that it was the most thorough "by Night" book WW ever created and one of the best in terms of quality of material as well. So, I recently bought Chicago by Night 1st Edition.
VAMPIRE NIGHT BOOK FULL
I am looking to run a V:tM game I am not a lazy GM but I find the V:tM "(name of city) by Night" books to be a very handy resource: full of campaign ideas, adventure seeds, dozens of NPC's and a bit of history too. I am one of those folks who is still fond of the oWoD take on Vampires even though V:tR replaced V:tM nearly two years ago.
